In-Session Open House Schedule and Information

Each Tuesday the school welcomes prospective parents to visit the classroom at 9:30. At this time you will be given a tour of our unique childrenís school house and an opportunity to observe the Primary class during their morning work cycle. You will meet, Ms. Kellie, our Primary teacher and will be given an information packet.

Once you have seen the morning session, the next step is to see the afternoon session of our Primary class. Make an appointment for a Tuesday at 2pm. This part of the program consists of transitional kindergarteners and kindergarten students that are a minimum of five years old. These children have demonstrated that they are ready for a full day of school and that they are ready for more challenging and lengthy work. The full day ends at 3pm.

Visiting both sessions of the Primary classroom school day gives you an idea of the whole Primary Level school day. It is the combination of the multi-aged children, the specially prepared environment and the three year Montessori curriculum that makes a Montessori education second to none.

Ms. Kellie will schedule a follow-up appointment with you to discuss your visit and a schedule a child visit. A child visit gives your child the opportunity to visit the school in session and work with Ms. Kellie for 45 minutes to an hour. After the child visit, Ms. Kellie will meet with you and discuss the next step.

If Tuesdays are not convenient, call the school to make an appointment for a time that fits your schedule.
